LFPA Food Pick-Up
Mark your calendars for our next LFPA food distribution on May 2nd, 2025. The pickup time is from 10am to 2pm and is first come first serve.
Please note LFPA only allows for ONE application per household, applications with duplicate address will be denied. You must use a valid address to receive services. The use of multiple addresses, or duplicate address by another member in the same household may result in termination of service.
Due to limited supply no holds will be offered, you must pick up that day, no exceptions.
The deadline to apply for the May distribution is April 29th.

Our Services

Our Low Income Heat and Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) offers members assistance with utility bills. This program is grant funded with limited funds available, applications are processed in the order of which they are received.

The Alabama-Quassarte Office of Childcare is currently accepting applications for our on-site facility, ages 0-3. This program is currently free for Tribal Members as well as offering a new Private Pay option for Non-Tribal Members in the service area; Spots are limited.
AQTT Office of Childcare offers a Subsidy Program which assists parents with paying for childcare. We offer an In-Home Relative Provider Program as well as Licensed Provider Program for those whose children attend a facility. All rates are based on AQTT Daily Rates. Providers are responsible for sending Timesheets and/or Invoices directly to AQTT Childcare Office.

The Alabama-Quassarte Tribal Town Elder Nutrition Program (AQTT ENP) intent is to provide services the Native Elders within Hughes County local community and service area. AQTT ENP will provide a nutritional meal, five days a week to AQTT tribal members and other tribe affiliated members that are 55 and older and who live within AQTT jurisdiction. AQTT ENP provides supportive services to Title VI participants.

The Alabama-Quassarte Tribal Town LFPA program is to maintain and improve food and agricultural supply chain resiliency. The cooperative agreements allow tribes to purchase local foods from local farmers and ranchers within a 400-mile radius of AQTT's location. The food purchased locally will be fresh, non-processed, or minimally processed foods.
If you are not able to pick your package up you must fill out a LFPA Permission slip for your designated pick up person.

The Enrollment Office assists with processing enrollment application, verifying eligibility and processing cards for members.
